Compared to last Tuesday, Choice steers were $4.25 to $5.00 higher.
Choice heifers were $3.50 to $4.00 higher. Limited supply of
Holstein steers were steady. Active market with a good demand.
Select, and Select and Choice steers and heifers were very active
with most of them returning to the feedlots at a premium to the
Choice grades. Supply was made up of 55 percent steers, 38 percent
heifers and 7 percent Holstein steers.
